Location Data Collection and Usage

Our applications may collect, access, and process location data from your device to enable and improve certain features and services.

Depending on the specific application and its functionality, location data may be collected in the following ways:

  • Single-time Collection: Capturing the device’s location once during activities such as user check-ins or authentication (e.g., QR code scans, face recognition).
  • Continuous Collection: Monitoring the device’s location periodically during an active session to ensure compliance with operational zones, workforce management, or app-specific requirements.
  • Background Collection (Foreground Service): In some apps, location data may continue to be collected even when the application is running in the background (through a foreground service), to maintain uninterrupted functionality, such as real-time attendance verification or operational tracking.

Location data may be gathered using technologies such as GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile network information to provide accurate and efficient service.

Purpose of Location Data Usage

We use location information exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Verifying attendance and presence within authorized or designated areas
  • Enabling location-based features necessary for app functionality
  • Supporting real-time workforce management and operational efficiency
  • Maintaining seamless tracking during active sessions, even when the app is minimized
  • Enhancing security, fairness, and accountability across work operations

We do not use location data for advertising, marketing, or unrelated purposes.

User Consent and Control

We collect and process location data only after obtaining the user’s explicit consent.

Users have full control over their location permissions, and can decline or revoke access at any time through their device settings.

However, declining location access may limit or disable certain features that depend on location services.

For applications requiring continuous or background location tracking, users are clearly informed of this usage before granting permission.

Data Storage, Sharing, and Security

  • Location data is securely stored and protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
  • We do not share, sell, or disclose location data to third parties, except where required by law or with the user’s explicit consent.
  • Location information is used solely for the operational purposes described in this policy and in accordance with our commitment to user privacy and transparency.

When Location Tracking Stops

Location tracking is active only during active sessions (for example, while the user is logged in).

Tracking automatically stops immediately when the session ends (e.g., after user logout or app closure where applicable), ensuring privacy outside work or operational hours.
